Words of wisdom from CC the RV (That’s Me!)

There has been a lot of bad news in our world lately and I think the biggest reason is we have forgotten what to do when things get tough. First we need to be proactive. Second we need to unwind. I will leave you to figure out how to be proactive in your life and I will discuss how to unwind and of course I will make sure it has something to do with camping!

In stressful times we need to remember what was made for us to enjoy. We forget to turn off the TV, turn off the computer, and just go outside. It was made for our enjoyment. Watch the birds, enjoy the sunset, walk. We take all of these things for granted almost each and every day and now is the time to stop watching the doom and gloom on TV and the internet. Stop monitoring your losing stocks every hour, it wont change today. Just stop everything negative and thing of everything you have that is positive. When we stop looking at all the good things around us and focus on the negative we have lost. Right now there are many lost people out there. I think 10 minutes of watching the news proves that. Are you one of them? Do you want to fix it, or would you rather just sit back and wait for the world to change first?
First step: GO OUTSIDE! Make your kids go outside! Make your wife, husband, Mother, Father etc. go outside! Go to the lake for the weekend. Go Camping! What is a better way to enjoy the outdoors then an RV? Its even ok to camp in a tent but it gets hot down here and frankly we are accustomed to A/C. Now I have seen people lug a window unit and have it stick out a tent but you’re still sleeping in a T-E-N-T!

Every time I go out it takes me 2 days to unwind. The first day I am so concerned about getting there I am a wreck. I call work every few hours, they are calling me… I need to find the best spot, set up, make a fire, cook, make beds for everyone oh yea I am supposed to have fun. The next morning we need to take a walk, go fishing, see this, see that, cook, get some fire wood… and then I slap myself in the head and say “Hey, your not in a hurry, relax.” And then I do. I take the world at its pace. The pace of nature. Find the longest trail and take it.

Just don’t get lost.

In the News

CCRV wants to thank everyone for coming out to our Open House last month. It was a huge success. We have pictures on our webpage in the photo section.

Although there is a lot of bad news in the Industry right now we have not been affected too much. We have not lost a single lender, are manufactures are doing well and it seems all of our suppliers are doing ok as well.
We have changed some of our inventory around a little bit so we have more resources to buy some of the repos and closeouts from closed manufactures and dealers in other parts of the USA. We are partaking in auctions all across the country to get you the best deal. There is no better time then right now to buy an RV. You can save a lot of money.

Storage: I want to brief all my current owners of a situation that is occurring all over. RV break-in while in storage lots have been increasingly problematic. Many times there is more damage done to the RV then the value of the items stolen. Even though you may be able to afford it, do you really want to spend $500 on your deductable right now? We offer very secure storage. Not only is our lot gated. We have a state of the art security system that uses laser beams. They spider web and crisscross, and cover the perimeter of our lot. They are always on when we are not here. It is monitored by the security company, us, and the police. I am talking 007 people! Now I can never guarantee nothing can happen but its really hard to jump a fence, get in a locked RV, get something, get back over a fence, while a siren screams and a police officer is watching. We charge $45 a month. We park it for you. Safe and secure.

Untill next time...
